From Our Bylaws:
The USFA is a non-partisan association of currently serving military, reserves, National Guard, veterans, Peace Officers, and Fire Fighters who will fulfill the Oath we swore, with the support of like-minded citizens who take an Oath to stand with us, to support and defend the Constitution against all enemies, foreign and domestic, so help us God. Our Oath is to the Constitution. The US Freedom Army is organized exclusively for charitable, religious, educational, or scientific purposes under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, or corresponding section of any future tax code. As such, the USFA provides information and educational material related to the US Constitution to any person(s) expressing an interest. At such time as financial stability will allow, the USFA will provide education scholarships awarded to students to further their scholarly research related to the US Constitution in a manner prescribed by the Board of Directors.
In Plain Language:
We at the USFA believe that our nation has strayed from our Constitutional guidelines and that we MUST return to constitutional governance as our Founders intended. To accomplish this, the US Freedom Army was formed to begin the organizing necessary to allow our members to wield the influence necessary to strongly urge our political leaders to return to the Constitution as our governing document. Over time, we have established a Headquarters staff and regional divisions comprised of several States; our individual members number about 12,000 across the face of our nation, and includes several members from outside countries as well who are interested in our fight to restore the Constitution.
As we continue to organize, our primary mission is to engage in grass-roots activism for or against issues that support or defy our Constitution. If it's not Constitutional (by an original reading) then it is not lawful and must be defeated or repealed. A great deal of what we focus on is to inform and educate the average citizen who lacks a rudimentary understanding of our Charters of Freedom, making them knowledgable enough to understand that the government we have is NOT the government our Founders intended. Informed voters are a force multiplier, and a force to be reckoned with - as we educate more voters, who then vote their knowledge, we will turn our nation around to embrace once again our Constitutional heritage.
